Practice assessment: - this is done through the MYE PAD DOCUMENT which is a record of achievement of the Professional Values in practice and NMC Future Nurse: Standards of Proficiency Part 3 (LO 1 & 2).

Written Reflection: completion of two pieces of reflection (one for Practice Learning Period 7 and one for
Practice Learning Period 8 each being 1000 words). These will cover three platforms within the NMC 2018
Future Nurse Standards of Proficiency: Platform 1 - Being and Accountable Professional, Platform 5 - Leading and Managing Nursing Care and Working in Teams and Platform 7 - Coordinating Care (LO 3 & 4).

Episode of care - The practice assessor/supervisors and student will identify an appropriate episode of direct care involving meeting the needs of a group of people receiving care or in caring for an individual with complex health care needs. Within this episode students should demonstrate skills to undertake a comprehensive assessment and understanding of commonly encountered presentations.
