ALL PARTS MUST BE PASSED
Practice assessment: - this is done through the MYE PAD DOCUMENT which is a record of achievement of the Professional Values in practice and NMC Future Nurse: Standards of Proficiency Part 3 (LO 1 &4).
Written Reflection: completion of two pieces of reflection (one for Practice Learning Period 7 and one for Practice Learning Period 8 each being 1000 words). These will cover three platforms within the NMC 2018 Future Nurse Standards of Proficiency: Platform 1 - Being and Accountable Professional, Platform 5 - Leading and Managing Nursing Care and Working in Teams and Platform 7 - Coordinating Care (LO 2 & 3).
Episode of care - The practice assessor/supervisors and student will identify an appropriate episode of direct care involving meeting the needs of a group of people receiving care or in caring for an individual with complex health care needs. Within this episode students should demonstrate skills to undertake a comprehensive assessment and understanding of commonly encountered presentations. Professionalism underpins all aspects of the student’s performance. The aim of this assessment is to demonstrate the student’s progression within the NMC 2018 Future Nurse: Standards of Proficiency (LO 3).
