ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
1, Develop and undertake a poster presentation relating to a child that you have cared for within clinical practice. During your presentation demonstrate a critical awareness of the underlying illness from diagnosis to available treatment pathways. In addition, when presenting, demonstrate how family centred care was considered within all aspects of the child/young person’s journey and how you assisted within the facilitation of this. Ensure that your poster is evidence based, critically analysed and referenced appropriately. You will be asked to present your poster to a panel and take questions and answers. (LO1 and 2)

2, Maintaining confidentiality, write a reflective assignment about a safeguarding incident/case that you have been involved in within clinical practice. Critically reflect upon the situation and the effectiveness of multi-disciplinary collaboration and wider issues. Ensure that you critically analyse and reflect upon the care provided and how (if appropriate) this may have been improved upon. From your analysis of the evidence and your assessment, you will discuss your findings and outline any future recommendations for best practice within safeguarding and child protection. (LO3 and 4)
