Module Learning Strategies
The learning strategy will include developing a supportive learning group that will meet for a series of themed workshops and tutorial sessions during the module. The workshops will cover the key concepts contained in the module using a range of creative teaching methods including, tutor input, group discussions, small group tasks, activities and presentations. Each participant will be provided with tools to enable reflection upon their own life, their experiences and skills, in order to clarify and energise their sense of participating in God's mission, and to understand as ministry the work that they engage in.

The module will require independent study, which will include: reading, reflection and journaling, research relevant to their particular work and ministry, and preparation for their presentation to colleagues.
Module Indicative Content
The module will cover theological aspects of human life and work in order to enable participants to situate their own particular stories within God's mission and to develop their particular gifts for ministry in God's world. Participants will be provided with tools and opportunities to reflect upon their own experiences and activities in order to integrate their faith and life. They will explore new aspects of spirituality that will sustain long-term ministry.

Significant features of the module will be:
-the introduction of the practice of journaling to aid sustained individual reflection
-group reflection and interaction to encourage learning from and support of colleagues
-the requirement of each participant to make a short presentation to colleagues concerning personal learning about their particular work with its opportunities and challenges for ministry.
