Indicative Content
This module introduces students to key elements required to understand and use the Bible today. It explores some of the variety of literary genres and theologies to be found in its many books. It introduces basic hermeneutical moves involved in their contemporary application.
Learning Strategies
Interactive lectures will involve a range of teaching methods and group work. The module requires students to engage in independent study, which will include reading and reflection.
