Module Indicative Content
The aim of this module is to explore and evaluate different expressions of family in today's society and the various theoretical and practice-based models of intervention with families. It will explore the significance of various societal factors on the family and the appropriate response for a family support worker and minister. The perceptions of those involved in various forms of family will be examined in relation to `social norms' and critiques will be developed concerning the effect these various expressions of family may have on their members.
