Module Details
Module Learning Strategies
This module incorporates two inter-related learning strategies. The tutorials (8 hours) will allow discussion of the individual research projects that students are undertaking. The independent study (142 hours) will allow the development and implementation of a research project and the writing of the essay.

Module Additional Assessment Details
The 500 word research proposal will require you to demonstrate your ability to plan a small research project and your knowledge of current literature in the field. It will assess [Learning Outcomes 1-3]

The 3500 word essay will require you to demonstrate the reading of relevant texts and use of other sources in order to demonstrate your critical understanding of the literature relating to Christian ministry and your capability to carry out a small research programme on a chosen specialist topic. It will assess [Learning Outcomes 1-5]
Module Indicative Content
This module provides students with the opportunity to explore in-depth a specialist area in Christian ministry and its associated literature. Students will be able to devise and progress their own research project, chosen in conjunction with their tutor. Topics and research may be work-related if desired.
