Module Additional Assessment Details
Seminar Presentation - 30 minutes (50%) meeting module outcomes 1 and 3.
Students will present an evidence-based analysis of the regulatory/legislative frameworks applicable to operating department practice and reflect on how this will inform their professional development.

1500 word Assignment (50%) meeting module outcomes 1 and 2.
Students will critically reflect on and evaluate the professional, legal and ethical frameworks that surround a selected issue relating to the care of patients in the peri-operative environment.

Students must pass both elements of assessment.

Participation in Interview/CPD workshop.
Participation in case law workshop.
Participation in clinical guideline appraisal discussion forum via Blackboard
