Module Indicative Content
The aim of this module is to develop a project proposal that will be the basis of the project undertaken in the Work Based Project module. The proposal must focus on an aspect(s) of customer service / contact centre management related to the student's work place.
The aim is to allow students, in negotiation with a University Tutor, to identify and propose an aspect or aspects of study which will specifically meet their own learning and development needs.
The module also introduces the investigation process, including setting objectives.
It is the student's responsibility to contact their supervisor and arrange appointments for consultation.
The project proposal would be likely to include the following to demonstrate the developmental stages, providing the background to the project.

Module Learning Strategies
The learning strategy for the module requires students to commit 150 learning hours (including assessment).
The first part of the module will focus on the investigation process and establishing the objectives of the project, and the examination of potential customer service / contact centre management issues. There will be 6 x 2 hour sessions incorporating lectures and workshops focusing on the investigation process and the key aspects relating to the coursework assignment and the production of a project proposal.
The remaining part of the module will focus on the development of the proposal, with 2 x 2 hour progress tutorial to discuss common issues.
There will also be an opportunity for up to 2 hours of one-to-one discussions with the Module Tutor regarding the specific details of your investigation and proposed project.
