Module Details
Module Learning Strategies
The learning strategy for this module requires students to commit 150 learning hours (including assessment). This will include 40 hours of academy study and 110 hours of independent and self directed study and assignment preparation.

The academy sessions will include formal articles, exercises, case study analysis and reflective study based on student experiences in the subject area. Students will be encouraged to integrate their work based experiences with new knowledge and skills developed in the classroom as the module progresses.

This module focuses on developing a manager's ability to make contributions to workforce planning and performance management at organizational and sub-organizational (e.g. department) levels

- Recruitment, selection, induction and retention of human resources
- Analysing business performance level requirements
