Module Learning Strategies
Students will engage in a variety of theoretical and practical learning experiences which could include:
- work shadowing
- training workshops
- training courses
- development through application of knowledge
- leading individuals and/or teams
- dealing with complex personnel matters
- personal reflection
Module Indicative Content
This module introduces and develops people management skills as essential requirements for personnel to become effective HR practitioners in a military environment.
Students will be introduced to topics such as:
- relationship management
- organisational culture
- emotional intelligence
- transactional analysis
- communication skills
- interpersonal skills
- reflective learning
Module Additional Assessment Details
Portfolio of Evidence of no more than 4000 words (equivalent) which assesses all learning outcomes and is weighted at 100%
