Module Details
Module Learning Strategies
The learning strategy for the module requires students to commit 150 learning hours, of this there will be 38 hours of class support and 112 hours of independent and self directed study.

Student managed learning/ directed learning

Students will contribute to group discussions to aid their own personal career development. They will access a wide range of available sources to help their career planning, through texts, professional publications, internet sites and computer guidance programmes. They will also undertake practical skills development activities to contribute to their future employability. For example, through psychometric and other self assessment techniques, creating a CV and accompanying letter and through practice as interviewers and interviewees.

Module Additional Assessment Details
Compilation of personal development portfolio and its presentation weighted at 50%. A File of evidence weighted at 50%.

To pass this module student must obtain 40% marks.
