ASSESSMENT DETAILS
Reviewing the Personal Development Plan, culminating in the identification of revised personal development objectives (400 words) (20%). (Learning Outcome 1)
A work based assignment of 1,600 words (80%) (Learning Outcomes 2 - 4 )
The student will be expected to demonstrate understanding (and / or application) of the learning through the production of a report. This will involve the evaluation, interpretation and contextualisation of module content to a given work-based situation. Where appropriate, recommendations for immediate and future action should be identified.
INDICATIVE CONTENT
The aim of this module is to expand on the Personal Skills module and introduce students to the range of issues and skills necessary for understanding the impact of their actions on others, both within and outside the organisation.

The primary aim of this module is to deepen participants self-awareness, emotional intelligence and understanding of the human aspects of leading and being led. The module also aims to further progress the student towards being a functional and effective independent learner.

LEARNING STRATEGIES
This module is highly interactive in term of teaching, but places high value (and consequential expectations on students) in relation to independent study and especially reflection. Teaching will introduce and explain core concepts, but there will be a substantial contribution made by individual learners in terms of interpretation and application.
The learning strategy for this module requires students to commit 150 learning hours (including assessment). This will include 24 hours of scheduled teaching and learning and 126 hours of independent and self-directed study.
