A 2000 word essay, from a choice of 5 questions (70%) - (Tests Learning Outcomes 1, 2 and 3)
A 1000 word review of 2 contemporary academic/professional articles (30%) - (Tests Learning Outcomes 2 and 3)

To understand and apply a range of learning theories, concepts and approaches in order to build and manage effective learning environments and processes. In particular, the following:

Collaboration in building knowledge-productive environments
Collaborative processes to support creativity and innovation
Organisational roles, structures and networks to support learning and the management of knowledge.
The relationship between learning and performance
Processes and resources that facilitate learning and support learners
The importance of integrating learning with working
The assessment of learning
The contribution of communications and information technology to individual and organisational learning.
The contribution of organisational learning and knowledge management to the achievement of organisational objectives.

The learning strategy for the module requires students to commit 150 learning hours (including assessment) of this there will be 36 hours of class support and 114 hours of independent and self directed study.
