ASSESSMENT DETAILS
Two Assignments, weighted at 60% & 40%.
Assessment 1 : 60%
A 2000 word theoretically underpinned essay that critically evaluates the relevance of management and leadership skills and competencies on contemporary organisations, underpinned by a skills assessment reflection and a Personal Development Plan - Covering Learning outcomes 1, 2, 4, 7 and 8
Assessment 2: 40%
Financial Management and Statistical Analysis Activities - Covering Learning Outcomes 3, 5, 6
Data Calculation and summarisation
*Students must score a minimum of 40% in each assessment. Where a student fails to score a minimum of 40% in each assessment, they would have to resit that particular assessment in order to pass the overall module.

LEARNING STRATEGIES
Residential (Knowing Me, Knowing You) plus practical workshops (IT and finance related) , Students Presentations Case studies, Private reading and reflection.
This module may be offered in block delivery, with concentrated learning sessions facilitated by an appropriate tutor. The use of action learning sets will be a major tool in enhancing the experience. The learning strategy will focus on ‘problem and practice-based learning’. Outside of this, time material will be available on the VLE (Blackboard) to support these contact sessions and to encourage deeper learning. Where appropriate, workplace mentors will support and encourage their learners with access to relevant company information and people.
