Students need to become increasingly proficient in examination, articulatory techniques and case analysis presentation, using knowledge about changes in the musculoskeletal system gained previously.
Osteopathic examination will be reviewed. Refinement of osteopathic technique including indications and contra-indications of articulatory techniques and Muscle Energy techniques - appendicular and spinal. The students will be guided through methods available to modify their range of techniques for safety and to explore the variety of situations and cases in which osteopathic healthcare might be relevant.

(Subject Benchmark Statement: Osteopathy: A,B, D, E, F,G,H, K, L, M)
