Module Indicative Content
Communication (including radio communication), major incident planning, command systems, organisational command and structures, operational command, triage systems, mass casualty management and treatment, scene management, political, professional and economic issues, stress management and debriefing, chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) incidents.
Module Additional Assessment Details
A critical discussion of the fundamental systems and processes for managing a major/complex incident
(contributes to meeting all LO's)

Formative Assessment will include:
Individual presentations - a 20 minute presentation which will relate to the students role and include the responsibilities of other services. The presentation will explore and critque a key concept in relation to the managing a major/complex incident. Students will present to their fellow students
