Module Details
Module Additional Assessment Details
You will present a body of coursework for assessment, including:

A visual diary documenting your research [Learning Outcome 2].
A pictorial workbook evidencing your technical and picture-making strategies [Learning Outcomes 1,3].
A carefully produced and presented set of colour photographs [Learning Outcome 3].
Module Indicative Content
Colour is frequently associated psychologically and symbolically with feelings and emotions. These associations are defined both by personal experiences and by the culture in which people live. On this module you will make photographs whose aesthetic motifs are based on the primary colours red, yellow and blue. Working with traditional film or new digital technologies you will use your photographs and research findings to construct photographic narratives that explore these symbolic and psychological associations.
