Module Indicative Content
This module aims to equip you with a broad introduction to the practice of Photojournalism; you will be introduced to areas such as; the history of Photojournalism, the social document, contemporary practice as well as practical skills and at the same time as beginning to develop conceptual skills.
This module will be lecture, seminar and workshop based, as part of the assessment you will be asked to design and contribute to your own web and blog site. You will be encouraged to become intensely involved in practice and research. Technical skills include digital 35mm camerawork, basic digital imaging and introduction to web and blog site design. Visual and verbal presentation skills will be developed through practice in group tutorials, seminars and group critiques.

Pictorial workbook/s evidencing your technical development and picture-making strategies [Learning
