INDICATIVE CONTENT
This module gives you the opportunity to work using an editorial approach to Photojournalism, enabling you to identify visual strategies and editing skills that are necessary to create competent editorial images and stories. You will be introduced to the photographic studio and shown how to use basic studio lighting, both in the studio and on location. You will also be able to test out your acquired journalistic skills within a team as you work towards the development of a joint publication.

For this module you will be asked to produce a set of images and a written article based around a portrait of a subject. You will be asked to collaborate with others to produce a human interest story. Your work should primarily address the visual message, but you will also need to consider the written article itself. You will look at how `house styles' of magazines can help you explore the eventual shooting style you adopt.

The Editorial module will build and expand on basic journalistic skills learnt in The Introduction to Photojournalism and Journalism in Practice 1 modules.
