Module Indicative Content
This module will develop the historical knowledge you acquired in level 1; specifically, you will gain an understanding of key events, practitioners and historical themes around the subject of Photojournalism.
You will be asked to research historical themes and events from the history of photojournalism and chose one practitioner to study in depth.
You will also be expected to produce a series of original images where your stylistic approach has been inspired your chosen practitioner and write a comprehensive essay about your chosen practitioner.
This module will be lecture, seminar and workshop based, and, as part of the assessment you will be asked to work within small groups researching your selected practitioners resulting in a group presentation.
