You will present a body of coursework for assessment as outlined in the module information pack. This is likely to include:
A folder of research findings, including a section on costings, contracts, etc. [Learning Outcomes 1, 2].
A presentation to your peers on the professional specialism you researched, illustrated with your own photographs [Learning Outcome 3, 4].
Module Indicative Content
This module aims to equip you with the knowledge and skills you will need in order to be able to survive in the world of photography. Through lectures, seminars and practice briefs, you will learn how to cost a photographic job; how to write proposals and grant applications; how to question a client; how to deal with contracts and copyright agreements and how to present estimates, delivery notes and invoices. Practical work will entail the production of photographs related to your chosen area of 'industrial' practice which will be used to illustrate your presentation.
