Module Indicative Content
This module takes `fashion photography' as its subject matter and considers the various approaches that you might work with. Broadly speaking there are two approaches: One, clothes, garments and accessories are solely about the product and where the emphasis of the photograph is about how they `look'. Two, considers lifestyle where the photograph is a carefully `staged' combination of clothing, model, location, props, lighting and styling. The module will enable you to engage in a creative process to produce a set of images that can be considered within the context of the fashion industry. To support the creative aspects of this module both location and studio lighting will be utilised. A lecture series will support practical workshops and offer inspiration from both historical and contemporary practitioners.
Module Additional Assessment Details
