INDICATIVE CONTENT
Working within the framework set up from the Individual Practice 1: Explorations module, you will be engaged with the production and implementation of your self-initiated programme of photographic work. With tutorial support, you will continue the research and experimentation work begun in the last module, but this will now be focused with a much clearer sense of direction. You will be working towards the Degree Show and moving from the research and experimentation phase through to development and implementation.
You will need to maintain an adventurous, risk-taking attitude while engaging with the realistic acknowledgement of the constraints imposed by time, space, people, and institutions. You will consider your practice in relation to a potential career direction and or/ personal fulfilment, and this will inform the compilation of your portfolio and the form of your final exhibition. You will ensure that the end result of your final year's work is based as little as possible on speculation and as much as possible on the knowledge gained from trial, error and adjustment. It is very important that you continue to inform your practice through reading, research, and the analysis of photographs from appropriate sources, as this material will form the basis of a Final Evaluative Practice Document.
