Module Additional Assessment Details
1. Crime Data Analysis will assess learning outcomes 1 and 4. The learner will be presented with a range of open source data and be required to develop, evaluate and analyse the information to support tasking and co-ordination briefing requirements.

2. The reflective diary will allow the student to critically analyse how intelligence and information is gathered and managed in a policing context. Students will show understanding of the topic and ability to critically consider how this could be viewed within the concepts of decision-making and discretion. This assessment will address learning outcomes 1, 2 and 3.

Module Indicative Content
This module enhances the learner’s understanding of information and intelligence management and the importance of ethical and accountable decision-making and discretion.

This module incorporates all the learning outcomes and indicative content from the College of Policing, Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship Curriculum for the following areas:
Counter Terrorism

1.1 to 5.3 inclusive

• The gathering, analysing and evaluation of intelligence for policing operations
