Module Indicative Content
This module is designed to provide knowledge and understanding of human anatomy and physiology and serve as a foundation for applying knowledge to the practice skills that will be acquired as part of the competences required in the Assistant Practitioner role.

An introductory overview of the structure and organisation within the human body.

Consideration of the body systems including, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, musculoskeletal, endocrine, nervous, gastrointestinal, lymphatic, reproductive, integumentary system
Consideration of the role of homeostasis in the physiology of the systems
