An essay length 1500 words - weighted at 70% (addressing LO's 1, 3 and 4)
An Individual Presentation 15mins weighted at 30% (addressing LO 2)

Both elements of assessment must be passed

Formative assessment:
Students will be provided with the opportunity for formative feedback informally throughout the module and through individual tutorial support

Different roles energy plays in the approaches of conventional and complementary medicine
Chakras and energy flow within the body
Effects of stress on health
Relationship between mind and body
Influences of diet, nutrition and lifestyle and their impact on well-being

Formative feedback will be given on a one to one basis during tutorials
