Module Details
ASSESSMENT DETAILS
The summative assessment (interview) will assess all the learning outcomes.

Group tutorials will be undertaken within the taught sessions supporting the students with interview techniques. Collaboration with the Careers service will ensure the professional employability input that will target learners of different strengths and abilities, including learners form varying background that need different levels of support to maximise their employability opportunities. Gender, cultural and religious aspects will be address as any additional needs our learners may have as they are working on their career development. Prospective employers will be introduced at varying points of the module and the course in general to enhance and maximise learner employability opportunities. Formative mock vivas will be undertaken prior to the summative assessment.
LEARNING STRSTEGIES
Scheduled Learning and Teaching Activities: (30 hours)

6 hours lead lectures

15 hours group work, seminars / discussion

5 hours tutor led interactive workshops

4 hours formative mock interview practice


Guided Independent Study: (170 hours)

100 hours Independent and directed reading

30 hours attending careers events and meeting prospective employers / liaising with Careers
