Module Additional Assessment Details
A critical analysis, comparison and evaluation of two enquiry methods which have been used in the student's area of practice to enhance the evidence base. Particular reference should be made to comparisons and contrasts in the relevant literature - 2500 words (addressing all LO's)

Formative assessment will be via group and individual tutorials centred on the summative assignment.
Module Indicative Content
Students will study the key approaches to enquiry including;
- historical and current research paradigms
- Methodologies and Methods that underpin enquiry based evidence.
- Research designs and the factors that influence those designs.
- The hierarchy of evidence.
- The critical evaluation of enquiry based studies and the methods used as it applies to the student's area of expertise.
