Module Indicative Content
In relation to health and social care research this module will seek to enable the student to develop an understanding of:
Research methods and methodology (and a thorough understanding of the difference)
Research paradigms
Epistemology- truth
Reflexivity in research
Ethics (as a process) and -
Ethical sensitivity
Understanding data collection - traditional/ contemporary approaches
Data analysis - differing approaches to the analysis of data (in keeping with the overall research paradigm and methodology)
