Module Special Admissions Requirements
Evidence of previous level 3 study or equivalent academic / work experience. It would be expected that Prospective students will be working at the forefront of their speciality and developing innovative work practices.
Module Additional Assessment Details
This 3,000 word structured assignment will justify the area of health and social care to be studied: it will identify the pathway of learning and the learning outcomes to be achieved and how these outcomes will be demonstrated.
This structured assignment will be a rationale for the award pathway and presented for approval at the appropriate committee. Continuation on the award pathway is subject to the learning contract being approved by the Negotiated Learning Committee (contributes to meeting all LO's)
50% pass rate must be achieved
Formative feedback will be given on the learning contract as well as the rationale via personal/group tutorials and where appropriate seminar presentation

Module Indicative Content
This module will allow the student to plan and develop a bespoke programme to meet their personal and / or organisational learning needs.
The student will be supported in writing their own award outcomes and identify the knowledge and skills they require in order to meet the aims of their award pathway. This will be done within the academic, linguistic and regulatory framework of postgraduate education; principles of award design and provides opportunities for negotiating learning and assessment.
