Module Details
Module Indicative Content
This module covers the fundamental aspects of the need to present ideas and information in two and three dimensions and its role within the professional practice of design.

The module will also outline of the key methods and techniques associated with two dimensional presentation which will include marker rendering, coloured pencils and pastels, line weight drawings perspective.

Students will develop a basic level of competence in the various materials and methods used through experimentation, including the use of computer, photography and layout in production and presentation of ideas.

The culmination of the module will be an individual portfolio of work demonstrating competence and application of the above, including a Design Project.

1. Understand visual representation techniques and an appreciation of their role within the design process. (MQF1)
