Module Indicative Content
You will be given the opportunity and experience of working on one or more external projects, which may be in the form of a competition and/or live brief with industry.The way in which a creative idea is influenced by the external partner's requirements will be considered, as will industrial and/or user constraints together with the meeting of strict deadlines. Supported by market and visual research, you will be required to generate a range of ideas and use creative design methods developed over the previous levels of the course, finally presenting your work in a professional manner as determined by the client, competition or staff team.

Non-specialist computing facilities for email, internet access, word processing, database, spreadsheet and basic presentations will be available through Information Services facilities on-campus, not from within the Faculty itself - the exception being the Student Browsers based in studios/base rooms which will support mainly if not exclusively provide email and internet access

Researching the appropriate market and/or users.
Developing an appropriate design solution derived from your research and analysis including practical design work - from conception to conclusion
Developing a professional presentation of your project as required for final submission
Module Texts
A range of books, subject-specific periodicals and journals, newspaper and other related articles, as well as texts relating to the design process and the promotion of design relevant to your course of study should be employed as negotiated with the module manager - together with any subject-specific visual, audio or audio-visual evidence to support your work.
