Module Additional Assessment Details
A written assignment of 1,500 words will assess students' knowledge and understanding of a specific professional issue involved in setting up in private professional counselling practice.
There are a number of different professional issues considered in the module content. Students will collaborate as a group and identify which specific topic each of them will research and write about.
Every student will work on a different professional issue; however in the event of a large class group it will be possible for two students to independently cover the same topic.
Individual student assignments will be combined to make up the chapters of a book titled
'Issues Involved in Setting up in Private Professional Counselling Practice'. The completed book will be available to all students to be used as a working guide to support them in their future professional lives
