Module Details
MODULE INDICATIVE CONTENT
This module will support learners in preparing for the End Point Assessment.

During the PWP End-Point Assessment (EPA) module you will be supported to complete the assessments which demonstrate competence against the apprenticeship standard. In the EPA you will prepare and deliver your skills and presentation as outlined in the Apprenticeship Standard, independently assessed by the accrediting body British Psychological Society (BPS).

Full time apprentices will spend 12 months minimum on-programme working towards the occupational standard, with a minimum of 20% off-the-job training. The End Point Assessment must be completed within an EPA period lasting typically 3 months, beginning when the apprentice has passed the EPA gateway meeting.
MODULE ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
The EPA assessment will be carried out by the British Psychological Society assessors, with both elements assessing the learning outcome.

There are TWO elements of assessment, a practical demonstration and presentation of practice.

1. Practical Skills Demonstration (50%)
This is a single assessment consisting of two practical skills demonstrations: a patient-centred assessment and an evidence-based low intensity cognitive behavioural therapy psychological intervention (pass, merit or distinction)

2. Oral Presentation (50%)
A presentation of practice (25 mins) followed by a 20 minute question and answer session (pass, merit or distinction)
