Indicative Content
The module will support students to continue to work on life/career plans following their Steps to Success 2 module. Students will be supported to further develop their action plans as well as prepare outputs such as professional CV and LinkedIn profiles in preparation for graduation and employment search. University careers sessions will be provided focussed on search for employment and application to postgraduate courses.
Assessment Details
There is one element of assessment for this module: A careers/life plan conversation with Academic Mentor detailing career/life action plan.
Formative assessment on this module will be a series of tasks that enable students to have an updated career/ life plan, a CV and personal statement and a Graduate LinkedIN profile.
Learning Strategies
The module will be run by a combination of large group sessions, small workshops and some one-to-one tutorials (48 hours). The large group sessions will be part-supported by the University careers team and one-to-one tutorials with academic mentors will be particularly helpful with preparation of final career documents as well as for the summary conversation with the Academic Mentor.

1. Reflect, further research and synthesise current position on career/life plan and identify further opportunities to achieve next steps.
2. Demonstrate your ability to clearly communicate your skills and experience in a professional CV and personal statement and a Graduate LinkedIN profile.
3. Present your action plan for future career/life plan.

This module will act as one of the main support mechanisms in Level 6. You will be assigned a L6 supervisor/academic mentor who will support you in your developing your careers/life plan action plan which will be a collection of your work on your life/career plans as well as documents such as CV, personal statement, LinkedIn profile in preparation of seeking employment or PG course applications. University Careers sessions will be provided in taught session to help you achieve this.
