Module Additional Assessment Details
Students will be required to complete 2 pieces of summative assessment.
Problem Based Learning assignment comprising:
a) Group Seminar Presentation: 50%
Addresses outcomes 1 and 2
b) Individual Report (1500 words): 50%
Addresses outcomes 1 to 3
Students will be provided with formative assessment and feedback via structured written feedback identifying strengths, weaknesses and guidance for improvement.
Module Indicative Content
This module will build on the core reflective skills that trainees were taught in the first year. Building on those skills it will focus on the impact of clinical work on self and the effective use of clinical supervision. Drawing on current legislation this module will help trainees to research the latest clinical governance issues and to use the range of resources available to them to ensure that their practice is ethical.

Module Learning Strategies
Interactive workshops are used to explain, explore and develop understanding of key issues of relevance for this module. On day will be spend reflecting on personal and professional issues on us as clinical psychologists. There will be two days on skills development ? which uses both live and video feedback. Participants are encouraged to draw on experience from supervised clinical practice during these workshops through the use of a reflective journal. There will also be time spent on web-based learning ? giving trainees the opportunity to learn about the range of materials that are readily available to them to help them in their clinical practice.
