Module Details
Module Indicative Content
This module will enable trainees to understand how clinical psychology has developed within the NHS. It will highlight current ideas in community and critical psychology - particularly issues around power, poverty and social inequality.

The service user movement has demonstrated how the way services are structured and provided can stigmatise and alienate people. This module will critically evaluate different ways of working within services. It will review how systemic, collaborative and partnership working can influence individuals throughout services and across the lifespan.

Students will be required to complete 1 piece of summative assessment.

Small Scale Project - (3000w): 100%
Service Evaluation carried out within a service during year 1 placement.
Addresses outcomes 1 - 4

Students will be provided with formative assessment and feedback via structured written feedback identifying strengths, weaknesses and guidance for improvement.
