Learning Strategies
Scheduled Learning and Teaching Activities: (18 hours)
Contact learning will take the form of 6 workshops including both lecture material and interactive activities and a student led presentation (3 hours).

Module Indicative Content
The content of this module will introduce students to the knowledge and skills relevant to working with other professionals and a range of client groups across the lifespan. Students will be encouraged to compare and contrast a range of interventions applicable to health psychology settings and health and well-being outcomes. Students will develop an understanding of the issues relevant to the design and evaluation of a range of health promotion interventions. Students will critically self-reflect on the qualities and transferable skills related to employment in the field of health psychology.

Module Additional Assessment Details
POSTER PRESENTATION (weighted at 50%)
REFLECTIVE REPORT (weighted at 50%)
One Poster Presentation covering one application of health psychology (10 minutes duration) weighted at 50% (Outcome 1, 2 & 3)
One reflective report outlining the process and justifying decisions made in producing the poster 1500 words (50%) (Outcomes 1 & 3).
Students will be required to gain a pass in all elements of assessment within the module.
Formative Assessment:
1. Formative feedback on chosen topic for posters, and a session where students can view exemplar posters from previous years to help demonstrate structure and design
