INDICATIVE CONTENT

The Learning Outcomes will be taken from the students own negotiated and approved module proposal form. The module outcomes will be agreed and approved by the Negotiated Learning Committee.

All learning outcomes will be mapped to the Staffordshire University Typology
ASSESSMENT DETAILS
The proposal form must be approved by the negotiated learning committee prior to assessment/award board. As such the student will not be able to pass the assessment unless the Negotiated module proposal form has been approved by the Negotiated Learning Committee

Students will adhere to the University Assessment Guidelines and in particular the appropriate use of word limits for different credit weightings.

Student’s will be encouraged to think about how they will gain formative feedback and to specify this in their module proposal form.
LEARNING STRATEGIES
Scheduled Hours: (10)
6 hours group sessions , including but not limited to introduction to the module, guidance and support on developing module proposal, including constructive alignment of LOs, appropriateness of assessment etc.

4 hours of scheduled drop-in tutor support sessions.

Further scheduled teaching activities might be included within a student’s module proposal – for example, supervision provided by their negotiated module supervisor, attending scheduled teaching session being delivered as part of another module at the university.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
