ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
Students will be required to deliver a presentation on their approach to resolving an identified real-life scenario using the concepts covered in the module. The presentation will last for 15 minutes followed by a Q&A session of 10 minutes. This assessment covers Learning Outcomes 1-3

This assessment will require students to reflect on the presentation using an appropriate reflective model. This assessment covers Learning Outcome 4
INDICATIVE CONTENT
This module covers a comprehensive range of topics integrating contemporary psychological theories and practices within business contexts. Key areas of focus include the application of personality and cognitive psychology to enhance employment readiness and organisational management. Students will explore behavioural psychology principles to influence and modify employee behaviour, alongside social psychology concepts that underpin team dynamics and organisational culture. Cognitive psychology will be examined in relation to decision-making processes and problem-solving skills critical for managerial success. The course also delves into developmental psychology, emphasising professional growth, mentorship, and lifelong learning. Psychological well-being and its impact on employee performance are central themes, with practical strategies for stress management and resilience building. The module culminates in the application of these psychological insights to business strategy and organisational behaviour, supported by reflective practices aimed at achieving sustained competitive advantage. Emerging trends and future challenges in business psychology will also be addressed, preparing students for the evolving landscape of organisational management.
