Module Indicative Content
This module will build on the skills learnt in Psychological Models 1. It will include teaching and critical reflection on the assessment, implementation and critical evaluation of systemic, solution-focussed, narrative, cognitive, behavioural, psychodynamic and attachment models of therapy. Drawing from these approaches trainees will be taught how to use these approaches across a range of client groups within a range of settings. The module will also critically evaluate whether or not these models generalise across cultures and settings. Trainees will be encouraged to consider a range of potential single-N methods which can be adapted for use in clinical practice.
