Module Additional Assessment Details
Case Study: (Maximum 4,000 words): Students need to
(i) submit ONE example of a consultancy output / deliverable in Health Psychology prepared for their client(s) which includes a consultancy contract, a timetable of work, budget, minutes from meetings, correspondence, consent procedures where appropriate in Appendix
(ii) write a reflective report describing how they established a working relationship with clients, planned and conducted the consultancy, managed, monitored and evaluated their work. Learning outcomes 1, 2, 3.

Assessment Criteria

A pass in a module will require all of the following
evidence of critical evaluation of knowledge at the forefront of the discipline;
ability to create and interpret new knowledge
ability to present this at a standard suitable to satisfy peer review
demonstration that you have acquired the skills necessary to practice as a Health Psychologist, including practising with regard to ethical principles, and accepting accountability for decision making.

There will be opportunities for formative feedback: one draft of each assessment given by (1) the module leader and then (2) the supervisor.
Module Indicative Content
Assessment of requests for consultancy, including establishing needs of client group; planning, managing, monitoring and evaluation of consultancy work in Health Psychology; formulating recommendations for clients; disseminating knowledge effectively; implementation of recommendations.
Module Special Admissions Requirements
You must satisfy these admission requirements
hold an honours degree recognised by the British Psychological Society as offering Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership AND
have completed British Psychological Society Stage One training in Health Psychology (a BPS accredited MSc in Health Psychology)
