ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
Apprentices will write a 1500 word report conducting a needs analysis on a local public health area of their choice. This will target particular vulnerable groups and potential areas of health inequality within the local population. Learners will identify potential barriers impacting access to healthcare for the relevant groups and suggest recommendations for resolving health disparities.

A suggested structure will be provided but can be adapted as needed. This assessment will cover all learning outcomes.

Key concepts will be delivered through lead lectures delivered through the university’s Virtual Learning Environment. This will then be followed by online synchronous discussion groups/seminars allowing learners to explore key issues and discuss the application to their particular working contexts.
