ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
Assessment 1 (Learning Outcomes 1, 2, 3 & 4)

Learners will design an academic poster identifying a mental health condition prevalent within the local population. They will explore the contributing factors to vulnerability to this condition and recommend initiatives to raise awareness and reduce stigma for individuals and communities.

Assessment 2 (Learning Outcome 3)

To support the reflective element of learning outcome 3, learners will also write a 500 word justification for their poster, reflecting upon the potential impact and identifying any potential limitations when it comes to its application to the public.

LEARNING STRATEGIES
Key concepts will be delivered through lead lectures delivered through the university’s Virtual Learning Environment. This will then be followed by online synchronous discussion groups/seminars allowing learners to explore key issues and discuss the application to their particular working contexts.
