ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
Apprentices will be provided with an overview of a public health intervention. Learners will conduct an analysis and evaluation of this intervention, addressing all three learning outcomes, identifying measurable outcomes for its success. Learners will apply and justify theories of change. Covers all learning outcomes.

WEB DESCRIPTOR
This module offers an overview of public health interventions, exploring frameworks for planning and implementation. Study key theories and models of behavioral change and their application in designing interventions. Learn steps for developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based interventions using best practices. Emphasize community-based participatory approaches, safeguarding, and the use of digital tools. Analyze key performance indicators, health communication campaigns, and the role of media. Review successful case studies and lessons learned for scalable interventions at local, national, and global levels.
LEARNING STRATEGIES
Key concepts will be delivered through lead lectures delivered through the university’s Virtual Learning Environment. This will then be followed by online synchronous discussion groups/seminars allowing learners to explore key issues and discuss the application to their particular working contexts.
