Module Learning Strategies
12 x 1 hour tutor-led lecture programme

Module Indicative Content
The module aims to provide students opportunities to acquire relevant knowledge and understanding of:

a) the major health problems of defined population groups
b) the benefit of health-related activity
c) examples of specific physical activity programmes for selected population groups
Module Additional Assessment Details
Students will be required to complete 1 piece of summative assessment:
1 x 150 minute end-of-module examination based on a student-led workshop, contributing 100% of the overall module mark which will assess LOs 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Students will be provided with formative assessment and feedback via tutor-led sessions and peer-review discussion.
