Module Indicative Content
To provide a critical understanding of the underlying concepts, principles and contexts which underpin
the process of Health Promotion and to provide applied practical experience in a specific health promotion activity to a chosen target group. This will include topical modules and approaches to Health Promotion.


Module Additional Assessment Details
Students will be required to undertake ONE piece of summative assessment for this module:
One (2500 word limited) COURSEWORK ESSAY based on their theoretical knowledge and practical experience gained throughout the module constituting 100% of the overall mark assessing Los 1- 4.
