Module Indicative Content
- Learners will identify the relationship of the major joints, skeleton and muscles
- Learners will assess the relationship with reference to age, gender and health
- Learners will develop fluency and accuracy in the language of anatomy and descriptive terms associated with joint movements, which may be utilised in both theoretical studies and in interpretation for clients and will be analysed for fitness for purpose in differing settings
- Learner will produce a strength training programme including a range of functional exercises specific to your clients needs
- Learner will demonstrate and instruct the correct recommended technique associated with a range of functional exercises specific to your clients needs
- Learner will analyse and evaluate the techniques used for a range of functional based exercises
- Learner will compare and contrast their usefulness and applications for different clients in relation to age, gender and health
- Learner will produce a strength training programme including a range of functional exercises specific to your clients needs
- Learner will demonstrate and instruct the correct recommended technique associated with a range of functional exercises specific to your clients needs

Module Additional Assessment Details
A range of formative and summative assessment methods will be used which are appropriate to the teaching and learning delivery method, mode of attendance and proposed weighting criteria used for this module, and as reflected within the Scheme and Award specifications.
A contextualised and approved assessment strategy and schedule will be published to students by award.
With regards to the HREF students, the Module will be split into two assessments (identified below)

1. Video Analysis (addressing LO's 1 and 3)

2. Practical Assessment (addressing LO's 2 and 4)

All learning outcomes are covered by the two assessment methods. Students must attempt all assessments and achieve an overall pass grade for the module

Formative feedback will be provided in a variety of forms, including written feedback on proposed titles, outline assignment plans and full drafts

Feedback may take place via full-class, group and individual tutorials
