To enable students to understand and apply the principles of sports marketing and event management. Discipline areas investigated will include, marketing, finance, planning and volunteer management.

Summative Assessment:
Formulate and justify a sports event management and marketing plan (2500 words). This will include the presentation of an outline plan for a sports event together with a rationale for the plan, to assess LOs 1 and 2.
